ISLAMABAD: Foreign Office has stated that differences exist with United States over drone strikes and there is need to resolve the issue mutually, Geo News reported.
In a weekly briefing here Thursday, Foreign Office Spokesman Muazzam Khan said Pakistan is ready to work with Obama administration.
Khan further said Pakistan will host two-day Regional anti-narcotics Ministerial level conference November 12 in Islamabad aimed at controlling the menace of production of drugs in the region.
He said the purpose of this conference is to control the menace of production and usage of drugs in the region.
The invited countries include Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, China, India, Islamic Republic of Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Russian Federation, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Turkey and Uzbekistan.
The spokesman also said Turkish Prime Minister and Egyptian President besides Iran and Nigerian have assured to participate in D-8 Summit, scheduled on November 22 in Islamabad.
Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar will visit Dhaka on Nov 09 to invite Bangladesh Prime Minister for this meeting, he added.
