One dead, many hurt in Orangi Town blast

KARACHI: One person lost his life and several others injured after a blast near an Imambargah in Orangi Town number 5, Geo News reported Wednesday.
However, the rescue resources have put the death toll at two.
The DIG Police said the blast occurred in a rikshaw but added that nothing could be said immediately about the nature of the blast.
Ambulances have whisked away the dead and injured to nearby hospitals, sources said.
The blast has damaged several shops outside the Imambargah where members of the forensic team are now collecting evidence.
