PESHAWAR: The Khyber Agency’s political administration has reinstated 600 Khasadars, who were suspended for professional disobedience three years back, Geo News reported.The restoration of the suspended paramilitary troops followed rounds of successful negotiation between the political agents and the tribal elders.
The Khasadars had incurred this disciplinary action back in 2009 for refusing to become a part of an armed onslaught against the insurgents infesting the tribal region in the Bara district of Khyber Agency.
