KARACHI: A twelve-member Indian delegation headed by Chief Minister Bihar, Nitish Kumar arrived here on Friday, Geo News reported.
Chief Minister Sindh, Syed Qaim Ali Shah welcomed him at the Karachi airport.
The CM is undertaking this trip at the invitation of the chief ministers of Punjab and Sindh provinces --Mian Shahbaz Sharif and Qaim Ali Shah respectively.
Nitish, who is leading a 12-member delegation comprising two ministers and senior officials, would share Bihar's growth story with the parliamentarians and civil society members of Pakistan.
According to sources, the Indian delegation would also call on several leaders of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM)apart from meeting other dignitaries.
It is yet to be confirmed whether Bihar CM will hold meeting with President Asif Ali Zardari and PM Raja Parvez Ashraf, sources added.
Sources further said that Kumar's itinerary also indicates visits to the mausoleums of Quad-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah in Karachi and and the of Sikh ruler Maharaja Ranjit Singh in Dera Saheb Gurdwara.
