LAHORE: The US Consulate General arranged a mock-polling at 'US Election Trivia Station' set up in connection with the US Election 2012 at a local hotel here which the Democrats US Presidential candidate Barrack Obama won by a huge margin of 90-47 votes against Republican candidate Mitt Romney.
The Election Trivia Station was arranged by the US Consulate General in Lahore to educate general public, especially the youth, about the US election and democracy.
A number of young people, students, US citizens and journalists cast their votes at the election trivia station through secret ballot.
The voters wore badges of the Democrats and the Republicans to show their support during the festive occasion.
Mock-poll victory by 43 votes in Lahore presented true reflection of the actual trends in the USA where President Obama has been re-elected for the second term.
