Asfandyar for independent judiciary

PESHAWAR: Awami National Party (ANP) chief Asfandyar Wali Khan said on Thursday that independent judiciary was mandatory for the supremacy of the Constitution and the parliament, Geo News reported.
In a statement issued from Peshawar, the ANP chief said that his party valued army’s sacrifices which it rendered during war against terrorism.
He said the ANP believed in supremacy of law and independent judiciary. Khan said that May, 12 would keep reminding the party of its workers who had been killed for their struggle for the judiciary in the streets of Karachi.
He urged all the institutions to work within their Constitution limits and avoid crossing them.
