CNG stations closed for 4th consecutive day in LahoreLAHORE:
CNG filling stations in Lahore remained shut for the fourth consecutive
day in Lahore, after observing three days of scheduled gas load
shedding, owing to the closure of Qadirpur Gas Field, Geo News reported
Thursday.
According to sources, the CNG stations were due to
resume the supply today at 6 am after the three-day weekly gas load
shedding, but the Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) issued
orders to CNG station owners to stop the supply for indefinite period
following the closure of Qadirpur Gas Field on account of technical
fault.
Few stations remained open in the city as they did not receive any notification from the SNGPL authority, sources said.
On
the other hand, commuters are facing severe difficulties due to the
non-availability of CNG. Long queues were witnessed at stations where
CNG was supplied.
