Two-day CNG holiday in Sindh from Oct

KARACHI: Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) is mulling over a proposal to observe two holidays per week for Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) filling stations in Sindh from October and to strictly bind the industry to do without CNG for one day.
The SSGC has prepared a gas load management plan in view of 300 mmf gas shortage in the coming winter under which it has proposed that CNG stations be closed for two days in a week instead of one day as per the existing policy. The industry will be prohibited from using CNG for one day per week.
The plan will be given a final shape during this week.
