POL, CNG prices except diesel hike

ISLAMABAD: The ministry of finance Sunday approved the hikes in POL prices except diesel, which would be effective from tomorrow (Monday), following the OGRA notification, Geo News reported.
Petrol will be costlier by Rs3.04, while diesel price will be down by Rs2.70, as approved by the ministry of finance.
Sources said that following hike in petrol price, CNG price in region-I will also rise by Rs2.78 per kilo and in region-II by Rs2.54, as it is correlated with petrol price.
Finance ministry sources further said that the kerosene price to go up by Rs00.70 per litre and light diesel by Rs00.47 per litre.
Following the hikes in prices, the new price of petrol will be Rs105.49 per litre, kerosene Rs101.95 per litre and light diesel Rs96.70 per litre, while the diesel new price after slash will be Rs110.46 per litre, sources said.
