Pakistan's liquid foreign reserves at over $13bn


KARACHI: The total liquid foreign reserves held by the country stood at $ 13,558.8 million on January 4, 2013, said a central bank statement.
Giving a break-up of the foreign reserves position, a statement of the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) said that the foreign reserves held by the central bank stood at $ 8,769.7 million while net foreign reserves held by banks (other than SBP) stood at $ 4,789.1 million on January $4,2013.
The total liquid foreign reserves on January 4,2013 stood at $13,558.8 million.
