PESHAWAR: Interior Minister Rehman Malik said Wednesday that Malala Yousafzai would not be sent abroad for treatment, adding that he was satisfied with her treatment by Pakistani doctors.
Speaking with the media persons here, Malik said that Malala's doctors are satisfied that her condition is now out of danger.
Malik informed reporters that neurosurgeons from London and the US were ready and would be called to Pakistan if the need arose.
The Interior Minister said that Malala’s attackers had been identified and would be brought to justice.
Doctors at the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) on Wednesday morning were successful in removing a bullet which pierced her head and was lodged in her shoulder.
