LAHORE: All rounder Abdul Razzaq has replied to the show cause notice from the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) issued to him for criticizing Captain Mohammad Hafeez. In his reply, Razzaq states that his intention was not to cause any controversy and he made the statements in anger. The all rounder submitted his reply after consulting with a legal expert.
“I will be careful in the future,” Razzaq said in the reply.
According to PCB spokesman Nadeem Sarwar, Razad had breached the players code of conduct and thus had been served a show cause notice.
Upon his arrival from Sri Lanka following the World T20, Razzaq had criticized Hafeez for dropping him from the semi-final squad.
