Man killed as couple ambushed in Peshawar

PESHAWAR: Unknown gunmen killed a man and injured his wife when they sprayed bullets after breaking into their house in a suburban area of Peshawar, Geo News reported Saturday.
According to police, unidentified culprits opened fire on a couple in the vicinity of Chamkani police station in Peshawar that killed the man on the spot while his wife was severely injured.
After the attack, the gunmen successfully escaped from the scene while the injured woman was shifted to Lady Reading Hospital, Peshawar.
Police suspected that the incident is the result of family enmity.
